Mary Keyser, owner of Simons Bros. told me that these style numbers were assigned in order of their creation. That makes this the 43rd style they made. Their business began in 1839. ALL-OVER FRENCH KNURL above a FACETED RIM. Stamped inside with the Simons Trademark, the size, "7" and "STERLING SILVER". Measures .52 inches inside diameter. Appears unused for sewing.
