QUESTIONS?

*I am listing thimbles from the extensive collection of Alta Thompson, one of the four “Thimbleers” (thimble pioneers). These women held the
very first known thimble meeting in the U.S.A. in Seattle in March, 1946. They are pictured on page 226 of the Revised First Edition of
THIMBLE COLLECTORS ENCYCLOPEDIA. The collection has been lovingly and carefully stored for 25 years, since her death, by Alta’s family.
Rather than sell the collection at auction, as fellow Thimbleer Doris Ramstead did, they have asked me to list Alta’s thimbles on eBay.
The collection was amassed from 1940 to 1970, and contains thimbles I have never seen before. I know you’ll find something for your collection
or for gifts.
