26. From Collection of the late Lois Erdmann of Coloma, IN, this really old SIMONS, hand engraved thimble, has FOLK ART FLOWER and LEAVES around the RIMLESS BAND. Size "10 STERLING", stamped on the band beside the cartouche. Almost all thimbles of similar style date from the 1880s. Very nice condition for 130 years, only being slightly out of round.
