9r. REALISTIC GRAPES and LEAVES surround this c. 1890s STERLING SILVER THIMBLE. Above the RIM is a row of engraved SCROLLS. On the cartouche it has, "STERLING", and their ANCHOR mark. Inside the top is the "SBC" mark used until 1913, and the size, "9". It appears NOT to have been used for sewing, but it is out of round and has scratches of age. Ornate SCROLLS RIM.
